Conrad Hornung is a Safety & Health Specialist with Compliance Technologies, Inc. (CTI), a professional environmental, health, and safety (EHS) services Company serving the Midwest.

He received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1984 and has made a career in EHS regulatory compliance ever since.

Relying on his 30-plus years of experience in the chemical production and hazardous waste treatment industries, Conrad provides a broad range of safety and health consulting services to CTI’s clients.

As the Health & Safety Specialist at CTI, Conrad’s responsibilities will include assisting current and new clients in regulatory compliance activities associated with, but not limited to identifying hazards in the workplace, assessing and evaluating workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with corporate and governmental health and safety standards and regulations.

Conrad can design and aid in the implementation of workplace safety procedures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work conditions. Coupled with his industrial experience, Conrad’s personable style relates well in providing employee training for the numerous OSHA safety programs.

A particular strength is his ability to investigate accidents and incidents in order to identify their causes and to determine how they might be prevented in the future.

In addition to the above, Conrad will lend his technical writing skills to the preparation of specific compliance-driven written plans and programs.

Prior to joining CTI, Conrad most recently was an SDS author contracted to the 3E Company, and an environmental consultant for Lincoln Electric. Additional to his skill set in safety, Conrad is also experienced with air permits, water discharge compliance, hazardous and universal waste management programs, RCRA and Emergency Response Team training, DOT compliance programs, and Safety Committee/OSHA training based on General Industry standards.
